Born in Florence, Eleonora was surrounded by art and early on, just after high school, encouraged by her uncle, a painter, she enrolled in the Academia di Belle Arti, the same academy with which Michelangelo and many other Renaissance masters were associated.
She studied sculpture and stage design and shortly after completing her studies, joined the Teatro Communale, Florence’s largest theatre, as a set designer.
She worked with Teatro Comunale as well as and other smaller theatres throughout the city. Her extraordinary designs soon brought attention to her work, and she was swiftly singled out as an exceptional talent and discovered by the Marinelli Foundry.
In the foundry Eleonora specializes in the creation of sculptures on customer demand, enlargements and retouching of the wax sculptures.
